The opus charger was used because I have one, and so do many others. If you go look at the original data there is lots of fuzziness, but generally speaking the correlation between IR and % capacity remaining is fairly linear to about 70% of capacity, which allows for the linear trendline.

Be aware, there are absolutely zero 18650, 25650, or similarly sized cells that are higher capacity than 3500-4000mAh. They are scams. And anything that has the word "Fire" in the name, take that as a warning not a name.

I was plugging in the positive connection of one pack to the negative connection on the second pack. A few seconds later, i noticed a fire on the first pack. Regular 18650''s won''t discharge as much as Vape batteries, and that''s actually a good thing. When you have 100 cells in parallel, you can easily hit 100A with ''old crap'' @1A each. With Vape batteries, that could be 2000A which is overkill and I''m guessing that Vape batteries don''t last as long as 18650''s but I could be wrong.
