How much CO2 does Oslo emit a year?

The waste-to-energy plant at Klemetsrud is currently responsible for 17 per cent of the city’s emissions, and is the biggest single emitter of CO2 in Oslo. From 2026, up to 400,000 tonnes of CO2 will be captured each year. This corresponds to the annual emissions from 200,000 cars.

Does celsio own Hafslund fibre?

Celsio also owns 100 per cent of the fibre company Hafslund Fiber, which supplies dark fibre to the business sector. At the end of 2022, Celsio had approximately 200 employees working at the two waste incineration plants at Klemetsrud and Haraldrud and at the headquarters in Skøyen.
