In recent years, a number of energy storage power stations have been built in Gansu province, Jiangsu province and other places in China. The multiple energy storage state has been formed.
The energy storage power station is dynamically distributed according to the chargeable/dischargeable capacity, the critical over-charging ES 1# reversely discharges 0.1 MW, and the ES 2# multi-absorption power is 1.1 MW. The system has rich power of 0.7MW in 1.5–2.5 s.

Battery energy storage systems (BESS), as a practical and flexible regulation resource , have been widely studied and applied for the characteristics of energy time-shifting and power fast-accurate response .
In addition, by leveraging the scaling benefits of power stations, the investment cost per unit of energy storage can be reduced to a value lower than that of the user’s investment for the distributed energy storage system, thereby reducing the total construction cost of energy storage power stations and shortening the investment payback period.
