Figure 4 shows the equipment composition and energy flow structure of the residential energy system in this study. PVs and batteries are the main power supply equipment, while heat pumps and heat storage tanks are the main heating equipment.
The single energy storage device scheme includes single electric, single gas and single thermal energy storage schemes, while the dual energy storage device scheme includes electric/thermal, electric/gas and gas/thermal energy storage schemes. Currently, the application and optimization of residential energy storage have focused mostly on batteries, with little consideration given to other forms of energy storage. Based on the load characteristics of users, this paper proposes a composite energy system that applies solar, electric, thermal and other types of energy.
