<p>Hi, I am wondering about Tesla grid profiles. Tesla has informed me that I should contact enphase to add the "Tesla" grid profile to my toolbox. Currently I only see one with "Tesla" but it is for an interstate network. </p><p> </p><p>The site in question has higher voltage supply that the network isn''t willing to drop, so needs to be a 258v profile too. A battery does NOT neccessarily give you power when grid is off. A complete system does. The system can be imagined as battery is a solar panel without sun. Once you have the support infrastucture (ie Quick Isolation Switch) so you cannot generate power into an off grid (Aus Spec is 300mS to turn off) Then you plug in batteries as needed.

I have three phase 12.21 kW IQ7A (33 Microinverters) installed last year in Sydney, Australia. It''s working well. Last month, I installed a Tesla Powerwall 2 with Backup Gateway 2. Enphase IQ7A microinverters works really well with Tesla battery. However if the grid goes down in the daytime, the solar system shuts off and the Tesla battery does not get charged by solar as it should.
