Each rack consists of integrated Energy Storage Vessels (ESVs) in 150 kWh and 102 kWh configurations. “Our customers get complete flexibility to install and connect as many fully assembled Energy Racks as their energy storage use cases require—simple as that,” said Randall Selesky, CRO, EnerVenue.
FREMONT, Calif., Dec. 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EnerVenue, the first company to bring metal-hydrogen batteries capable of more than 30,000 cycles to the clean energy revolution, today announced the launch of EnerVenue Energy Storage Vessels (ESVs), the company’s second-generation energy storage product.
From pv magazine USA EnerVenue, a US-based manufacturer of metal-hydrogen batteries capable of cycling up to three times per day, at two to 12-hour discharge rates, is launching of the EnerVenue Energy Rack. Each rack consists of integrated Energy Storage Vessels (ESVs) in 150 kWh and 102 kWh configurations.
EnerVenue notes that its nickel-hydrogen ESV technology does not have the thermal runaway risk of lithium-ion batteries. Another benefit is that the storage solutions are serviceable at a component level, which can lower maintenance costs, the company reports.
EnerVenue backs its ESVs with the Capacity Assurance extended warranty. Launched in October and the longest and simplest warranty of its kind, customers selecting Capacity Assurance are guaranteed 88% capacity for up to 20 years/20,000 cycles.
EnerVenue says its cylindrical batteries are low-maintenance and non-volatile and will require no special heating, cooling, or safety systems—unlike lithium-ion battery storage. EnerVenue Another advantage is that the battery chemistry works across a wide temperature range of –40 to 60 °C.
